Bike Rentals & Routes

If you’re coming to visit Clonakilty for the festival (or any time) and you want to rent a bike to keep with you the place to go to rent a bicycle is M.T.M. Cycles at 33 Ash St. on the main street of town.

SUGGESTED CYCLING ROUTES

For all these routes we STRONGLY recommend you bring plenty of water and provisions for the trip, some routes have the off shop or cafe en-route but they may be closed (Sundays etc) and some routes have only one or no shops en route.   You can click on any of the maps below to see map detail, gradients etc and, if you have a smart phone, navigate using GPS.

Join up routes to create full-day cycling adventures or shorten for leisurely family cycle days-out.  We always recommend cycling in line as roads are often narrow and cars do go faster than we would like!

If you want to add a route create an account on ‘MapmyRide.com’ and join our group ‘Clonakilty Bicycle Festival’ to start sharing!
